Palm Reading is the musical project from sound designer Skooby Laposky and multi-instrumentalist Charles Copley inspired by plant life, the natural environment, and the traditions of ambient music and deep listening. Their on-site recordings are a combination of synthesized electronic music generated by biodata sonification recorded from plants, as well as ambient field recordings and original acoustic guitar accompaniment captured in the moment. Previous recording locations have included Joshua Tree, Walden Pond and Palestine.
