Doctor Bird takes his name from Jamaica's national bird, a tribute to the heritage that fuels his sound. Blending old-school reggae and dancehall with hip-hop, amapiano, jazz, blues, and unexpected mashups, he crafts sets that move both the body and the soul. His greatest joy is creating moments where people truly feel the music, and if he introduces you to your next favorite song, his mission is complete.

From throwing samples into a sampler just to mangle them for a new purpose, to completely mashing two unrelated genres just "for the bit" during a live performance, there's always something new, even when recontextualized.
